Kuaishou founder takes direct control of community science line Kuaishou said on September 30 that founder and CEO Cheng Yixiao will run the community science line himself. Yu Yue, who led that unit, moves to CEO of Kling AI, Kuaishou's video generation business. Kling 4.0 ships in October. It outputs 4K and 1080p 10-bit HDR, takes up to 10 images, 5 video clips, and 7 subjects in one generation task, and can produce single clips up to 30 seconds. Kuaishou also set up a cross-business virtual unit called Enterprise AI Productivity. It covers office systems, general agents, enterprise context, and internal information systems. Our read: Cheng running the community science line himself keeps recommendation and content distribution tied to the main app. Yu gets a dedicated CEO seat to run Kling as its own business. The enterprise AI unit goes further than peers that only bundle office suites and general agents, since Kuaishou is folding its internal information systems into the same build.
