we tested @flxrnc's motion lab tutorial and it works! opus 5.5 built this 22-second halloween short from code, no images, no stock 3d models the setup: - a brief with numbers instead of adjectives: frames, lenses, easing, hex colors, plus a list of banned ai clichés - every frame a pure function of time, so the video renders frame-exact – 528 frames at 24 fps - opus reviews its own frames in rounds and fixes them what it took: - 21 review rounds, 2 hours of generation - $34 at api prices - 3,723 lines of three.js for the scene and the camera - 975 lines of blender python for the four characters - whip pan, rack focus, dolly zoom and a 25% slow-mo stomp – all written as code - sound generated in code too, measured at -14.5 lufs what should we animate with it next?
