爆料者辟谣 GPT-6 Sol 发布日期与定位传闻
该帖逐条否认 Sol 周二发布、比 Astra 更聪明、Bel 参与训练等说法,称 Sol 是 Astra 的蒸馏版。
You guys have been getting a lot of false information lately, so I decided to debunk some of it to help out: ❌ “GPT-6 Sol is coming Tuesday.” False. There is no confirmed launch date yet, not even among the better-informed leakers I know. A release soon is absolutely plausible, but I would NOT attach a specific day to it yet. ❌ “GPT-6 Sol is cheaper AND more intelligent than GPT-6 Astra. Think of it as a 6.2 jump.” False. Astra is still the flagship of the family. From what I’ve been told, Sol is essentially a distilled/student variant of Astra: nearly as capable in many areas, but designed to be substantially cheaper and more efficient. Calling it “more intelligent than Astra” reverses the hierarchy. ❌ “Bel helped train Sol.” I have received absolutely no information supporting this. The new OpenAI pretraining effort itself is still ongoing, so the idea that this new internal model has already trained Sol does not line up with what I know. I also have no confirmation that “Bel” is internally considered AGI. ✅ “OpenAI is extremely confident right now.” This part is true. The internal mood I’ve heard about is very positive. There is a lot of pride and excitement around what they have prepared for the next few days and for DevDay. ✅ “Anthropic knows it needs to impress with the new Opus.” Yes. Obviously. Anthropic is one of OpenAI’s biggest competitors. Of course they are watching what OpenAI is doing and want their next Opus release to land hard. But saying Opus 5.5 is coming Monday specifically because OpenAI is releasing Sol on Tuesday is speculation built on top of another unconfirmed date.
