NVIDIA just launched the Open Agent Safety Platform, and this matters more than another product launch. Agents no longer just answer questions. They take actions, touch tools, move data, and operate across systems. Once that happens, capability without containment becomes a liability. So NVIDIA built two things to hold them back. → OpenShell, open source software that boxes an agent in and logs every single thing it does while it runs. → Sentry, a separate layer of hardware that watches the agent from the outside and shuts it down in milliseconds the moment it tries to escape. Over 100 partners already in, including Microsoft, Oracle and Anthropic. If the next economy runs on agents, the companies that win won't be the ones with the smartest models. They'll be the ones with agents people can actually trust to put to work.
