Opus 5.5, arguably the best model right now, wasn’t given the AGI title by Anthropic, yet it does what the best models from other AI labs can do at a far more advanced level across basically every field. At this point, it’s Anthropic vs Anthropic. while OpenAI is competing with Google, Meta, and the Chinese AI labs.
