OpenAI has two more models coming this year. GPT-6.1 Astra, an early checkpoint of GPT-6.5 Bell, followed by Bell itself before the end of 2026. I expect Bell to basically saturate science benchmarks across math, physics, biology, chemistry, etc. Opus 5.5-level taste or better, a massive jump in complex backend coding, AA to AAA-level game design capabilities, and superhuman computer use. Basically anything a human can do on a computer. 2027 is going to be the year of ASI.
