Jev $40M seed, built by Diogo Almeida (ChatGPT co-inventor) skips the writing entirely. You hand it a diff, a log, a ticket. It returns a scored answer in 70-500ms, at $0.042 per million tokens in, with zero output text. Real numbers: a Claude Code refactor with 31 yes/no checks on one auth module used to pay for 31 full generations. The 200x speedup isn't a bigger brain it's just not letting the brain write when the job was a checkbox.
