Muse Spark 1.3 is gone from the free OpenCode lineup. here’s what i’d replace it with: 1. planning → GLM 5.3 Flash it’s slower, but i prefer it when the task is well-defined and i want a more structured plan first. 2. building → DeepSeek V4.1 Flash this is still my default for implementation. faster, more creative, and better suited for actually pushing code. 3. long-context work → Space Bunny the big advantage is the 1M context, especially when 200K on DeepSeek starts forcing compaction too early. 4. backup → MiMo 2.6 Flash i’d use it when DeepSeek gets too steer-heavy or starts producing weird implementation decisions. 5. best free combo → GLM plans, DeepSeek builds that’s the cleanest Muse replacement right now. Muse was really good. but the free stack is still very usable if you split the roles properly.
