Google may have cooked hard this time. A new model on Arena, widely believed to be Gemini 4 Pro, just built a 3D model of the Airbus H145 helicopter. It took around 10 minutes. A helicopter has a lot of parts that have to fit together, and this build looks seriously impressive. The 3D work is the strong part. The interface around it is not there yet. The UI elements at the bottom look a little rough, and the design taste on that side still needs work. That is a very specific gap. Strong 3D generation with weaker interface polish suggests the model is ahead on the hard problem and behind on the easy one. One caveat: as of mid-September, Google has not released Gemini 4. It only confirmed in July 2026 that pre-training had started, so nobody outside Google can say for sure what this model is. It is also one prompt and one build, which makes it a first impression, not a benchmark.
