AI Video Generators Reviewed: Kling, Runway, Jimeng & More

A user turns a car into a 30-second animated mini-movie with Google Flow, highlighting cross-clip character consistency and storytelling from a simple prompt.

User says Claude Code produced a full podcast ad for $2: research and script, frame swaps, 24 talking takes in Flow's Omni, plus split screens, captions and end card, with no paid API credits.

A TestDrive reviewer spent 12 credits on Google Flow with Omni 1.1 Flash at 720p and got four cuts instead of one follow shot, plus an extra passenger, concluding it suits trailers over continuous takes.

A creator compares Google Flow, Higgsfield and Supergrok for cinematic fight scenes, arguing even Higgsfield's creator plan needs effectively unlimited credits and beginners should start with free tools.

A user says Flow's free credits ran out after the first trial and asks for more so creators can test prompts and refine results before upgrading.

A user placed a test car in a futuristic sunset city; lighting looked great but the car's motion was inconsistent, and free credits ran out after the first trial.

A user turned TestDrive car footage into a music video with Google Flow Music, finding the creative options interesting but credits too limited to refine visuals.

A developer open-sourced an AI film producer skill for Claude Code that uses Google Flow and Grok to script, cast, generate clips, voiceover and music for a 60-second ad.

A user equips Claude with filmmaking and UGC ad skills; from one ladder product image it writes the script, generates clips via Grok and Google Flow, adds music and edits with FFmpeg.

A user ran the same fitness reel through Gemini via Flow, Grok and Higgsfield, saying the first two struggled with running motion and face consistency while Higgsfield handled cycling, swimming and lifting in one character.

Same prompts compared: Seedance 2.5 on Higgsfield cost 480 credits, took ~4 min per clip and got the product wrong; Flow's Omni 1.1 Flash was free, ~1 min and accurate, though Seedance had better voices.

A user argues Google Flow with strong reference images plus Topaz upscaling is the best low-credit way to mass-produce videos, ahead of Omni Flash.
