Kling 4.0 hands-on tests and comparisons

Third-party platform Raywake adds Kling 4.0 with 720p/1080p output, vertical, horizontal, square and 21:9 frames, product-photo start and end-frame selection, plus pricing and an API example.

A user reports Kling 4 produces stiff motion for plush/puppet subjects while Flash looks more natural, guessing full Kling 4 holds references more strongly at the cost of movement.

A creator found Kling 4.0 follows references closely: overlaying 3D drafts made output look more CG and 33 retakes were scrapped, while feeding one successful clip as reference made adjacent shots work first try.

A Japanese user says some crisp, lively motion can only be achieved with Kling 4 Flash, while full Kling 4 moves less sharply.

Author finds Kling 4's prompt length limit looser than the 20,000-character cap on other models, is satisfied with several generated clips, and says text-turning-into-glyphs can be fixed with prompts and reference images.

A creator runs Kling 4.0 on Cuddler to generate a continuous 30-second rooftop duel in the rain, sharing the full prompt with six-shot storyboard, character specs and consistency rules.

An official says a 1–3 day unlimited Kling 4.0 event for Pro users is planned for tomorrow, but cost uncertainty is holding it back.

Third-party platform Sume announced Kling 4.0 and Kling 4.0 Omni are now available there at the original price.

A user tests Kling 4.0 character generation, finding the performance very natural and character work improved, though the nose still shows artifacts; prompt is in the comments.

Third-party platform Studios adds Kling 4, offering up to 30-second clips, Omni Reference for characters, objects and audio, and claims of stable motion and camera work.

Kling 4.0 is fully available via API on fal with up to 30s clips, native audio, 15 reference assets, 10 keyframes, per-shot prompts in one request, and 720p/1080p including 9:16 and 21:9.

The author ran the same prompt through Kling 4.0 and Wan 3.0 for 90s anime style, noting clearly different takes and picking a winner.
