Kling 4.0 hands-on tests and comparisons

PixVerse adds Kling 4.0, offering Ultra subscribers 10 days of unlimited zero-credit generation via text, image, reference, and first/last-frame Transition mode.

The author describes locking blocking and camera moves with a greybox video, then using its depth map to guide Seedance motion, noting Kling 4.0 also accepts depth-map and white-model video references.

Using the same prompt, the author found Kling 4.0 delivers better physics in prompt adherence than Seedance 2.5, noting how much prompt wording can change results.

A user tests Kling 4.0 text-to-video at 30 seconds, reporting good prompt adherence and consistently strong aesthetics.

A user generates a fight scene with Kling 4.0 using a borrowed prompt, finds the motion quite natural, and notes it runs on Higgsfield for under a tenth of Seedance 2.5's credits.

Creatify ran the same prompt through Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5 and posted both videos for viewers to vote on.

PixVerse runs the same POV vlog prompt through Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5, asks viewers to vote, and shares the full prompt.

One prompt, one take each for Seedance 2.5, Kling 4, WAN 3.0 and MiniMax H3 on a five-stair kickflip; the four clips respectively miscount stairs, lose the head from frame, drop too fast, and hang too long in the air.

The author tests Kling 4 inside Adobe Firefly for crash zoom, time-freeze and whip-back camera moves, calling them among the coolest, with prompts included.

On one tavern scene, Kling 4.0 generates sound with the video and adds prompted hoofbeats at the end, while Mirelo working from the silent clip stays nearly silent.

A tip on Kling 4.0's edit mode: instead of rerolling the whole clip, change only the named element and lock audio and camera with one prompt line; full prompt included.

Third-party platform HeyOz announces Kling 4.0 support: up to 30-second clips at 1080p, up to 10 image and 5 video references per generation, taggable in the prompt.
