Kling 4.0 hands-on tests and comparisons

A daily AI news roundup notes that Kling 4.0 is live and can generate a 30-second clip in one pass, alongside three other AI stories.

TestingCatalog summarizes Kling 4.0: Omni Reference mixes up to 15 images, videos, subjects or voices per task, with 30s generations and up to 10 keyframes.

A comparison finds Seedance 2.5 still clearly ahead, with Kling 4.0 even trailing Wan 3.0 and failing to keep character consistency.

A user says prompt variations still miss the intended image, especially ultra-fast female movement; to save credits they test 5-second clips on the final scene, and this take is the best so far.

With one John Wick-style action prompt and a character sheet, Seedance 2.5 produced a real action scene, MiniMax H3 had no enemies, and Kling 4.0 spawned two copies of the man, one leaving on the train and one left on the platform.

invideo adds Kling 4.0, offering 30-second single generations, up to 10 keyframes, 15 references and 4K output.

A 15-second unbroken Kling 4.0 action shot of a bike courier in the rain, with Mirelo AI sound and Topaz Astra 2 upscaling, plus the full zero-cut prompt.

Buzzy now offers Kling 4 with Omni Reference for character and object locking, 30-second single generations and start/middle/end frame control.

A tested workflow routes Kling 4.0 output through Depth Anything Video on WaveSpeedAI into Seedance 2.5, calling it the best practice for anime circle shots.

A user cut a 5255-character Wan 3.0 prompt down to Kling 4.0's 2500-character limit and found the regenerated video disappointing, with skin textures looking overly smooth.

A user's attempt to generate video with Kling 4.0 through Lovart failed because the reused prompt exceeded the platform's 2,500-character limit.

With only a minimal prompt asking for a soccer commentary script, both models produce clean, energetic Japanese commentary, and the author expects better results with detailed prompts.
