Claude Code plus Remotion turns a text editor into a motion studio
Claude writes animation as code instead of using a video model: 20 seconds and 600 frames in three export formats, and a broken frame 225 is fixed by editing code and re-rendering only that range.
CLAUDE CODE IS TURNING A TEXT EDITOR INTO AN ENTIRE MOTION DESIGN STUDIO And the craziest part is that the video isn't being generated by an AI video model. Claude is literally writing the animation as code. Watch the terminal. Every scene, transition, and frame is controlled through editable source files. 20 seconds of animation. 600 frames. Three export formats. One AI agent managing the workflow. But here's what makes this different from Runway, Kling, or traditional text-to-video generation. When something breaks at frame 225, Claude doesn't need to regenerate the entire clip. It can find the problem, modify the code, render the affected frames, and check the result again. That's a completely different level of control. Claude Code handles the engineering. Remotion renders the animation. FFmpeg processes the output. And every finished video leaves behind reusable components for the next project. We're moving from prompting AI to make videos toward letting AI build the software that makes them. Watch the terminal in action. The full Motion Engineering setup, tools, and master prompt are in the article below ↓
