Grok Bot trading desk's first red night: $137K to $116K
Day 5 of a Grok Bot crypto trading desk drops from $137,350 to $116,675 overnight, win rate falling from 76% to 58%, while fixed risk rules cap the damage.
D*MN, MY GROK BOT DESK JUST HAD ITS FIRST REAL RED DAY, $137,350 DOWN TO $116,675 day 5 part 2 of the. after crossing $100K i let it keep running into the night. bad idea 3 desks, one screen, Jev picking the coins. new coins again, and this time they picked wrong the night: → opened $137,350 → first dip, $136,614. nobody panicked → $133,857, the red line starts sliding → small bounce back to $136,668. i thought that was it → Chillguy dumped, $129,331 → $127,220, then $125,955 → $119,277, the desk is down 13% → closed at $116,675, -$20,674 on the night the 5 coins the desk lived in: GOAT, CHILLGUY, ACT, BOME, MYRO. only Bome and Myro were left from part 1, both bled with the rest the win rate tells the whole story. started the night at 76%, ended at 58% the funny part, the bots still talk, even when losing. one typed “chillguy not chill rn”. another one, mid-dump: “dead cat bounce. literally”. and the little cat in the corner of the chart sat there all night saying “it’s fine. i’m fine.” honestly this is the post i didn’t want to make. 4 green days in a row and you start thinking the desk can’t lose. it can. -15% in one night the rules stay boring on purpose, and they’re the reason it’s -15% and not -50%: → no pool under $40K → no chart that’s already vertical → 2 losses in a row and the bot is out → a post on X is research, never the trigger at 0:03 the chart goes red. at 0:09 Chillguy dumps. at 0:21 it closes at $116K would you shut the desk off after a -15% night, or trust the rules and let day 6 run?
