GPT-6 Sol feels less intelligent than 5.6, one user says
After about 3 hours of use, a user says GPT-6 Sol is noticeably weaker than GPT-5.6 Sol at the same reasoning effort and suspects cost cuts hurt intelligence.

Not gonna lie, I’m pretty disappointed with GPT-6 Sol so far. I spent around 3 hours using it, and compared to GPT-5.6 Sol at the same reasoning effort, it feels noticeably less intelligent. The higher usage limits are nice, but I’m starting to wonder if making it cheaper came at the expense of intelligence... maybe it just needs more tuning. hopefully it improves with time, but for now, I’m not a fan. Anyone else having the same experience?
