openai was confident in gpt-6 sol and luna, but opus 5.5 ruined it. sol and luna weren't massive jumps. but for the price, they were worth using. then opus 5.5 dropped the same day and it was a big jump. and suddenly sol looked a lot worse than it actually was. good model but bad timing.
