Opus 5.5 rebuilds a foldable iPhone Duo in code with a live fold animation

The author had Opus 5.5 code all 141 parts of a foldable iPhone Duo, gating each part on clearance and cable-bend checks, then animating the fold to 150°.

THIS IS F*CKING INSANE Everyone wants to see inside the new iPhone Duo. Opus 5.5 rebuilt it from code, all 141 parts, and it folds. 139.9k triangles, 64 design rules, 0 errors. The idea: Opus 5.5 writes every part as code, and a check runs after each one. Nothing gets placed until it passes. the full tree > titanium frame, inner display, logic board > two Li-ion cells, one per half > hinge: 16 links, 8 sync gears, 24 magnets > 48MP main camera, flash, speakers, Touch ID > flex cables routed through the hinge the checks that gate every part: → clearance ≥ 0.05 mm, 0 clashes → flex cables bend ≥ 0.8 mm through the hinge → 64 design rules pass before the render → then the fold runs live to 150° on a 64-sample torque curve The guide I'm quoting calls that check the oracle and uses it to rebuild software with REA. I pointed the same loop at a phone. paste this into Claude Code ↓ "Rebuild [any device] in code, part by part: 1. Write the parts list first, with dimensions. 2. Make every part its own function. Place them one at a time. 3. After each part, check clearance (≥ 0.05 mm), clashes and cable bends. Stop and fix anything that fails. 4. Animate the moving parts last. Show me the parts list first. No code until I say go." Swap the phone for a watch, a drone or a car. Same prompt. save it, it'll come in handy.
