Opus, Sonnet and Haiku 5.5 each make a short film in code
Given the same kind of brief, Opus 5.5 made a 50-second ink-wash git merge animation, Sonnet 5.5 a 15-second spring typography piece, and Haiku 5.5 a 30-second pour-over coffee timer, all drawn frame by frame in single HTML files.
i gave Opus, Sonnet and Haiku the same kind of brief and told each one to make a film. no video model, just code > Opus 5.5: a tiny ink blob hits its first git merge conflict. two versions of one line crash into the file, the wall cracks, it erases the wrong half, then reads both and keeps the best of each. 50 s > Sonnet 5.5: a kinetic type study where every word moves on a real spring. stiff vs soft, damping, heavy vs light, then stiffness 170, damping 26, mass 1 counting up. 15 s > Haiku 5.5: a V60 pour-over recipe. 15 g coffee, 93 °C, 45 g bloom, 150 g, 250 g, done at 3:00, with live counters and a checklist. 30 s each model wrote one HTML file that draws every frame on demand, so every word, number and timing stays editable Opus spent 22 min and 1,170 lines on its film. Haiku did its in 9 min and 321 lines prompts in the comments bookmark and share it!
