Claude Opus 5.5 keeps a cartoon hero consistent across 30 episodes

A workflow where Claude Opus 5.5 reads a series bible and feeds up to 14 reference images to Nano Banana 2 so a daily AI cartoon hero stays identical for 30 episodes, with a rejected day-17 frame redrawn.

WTF, CLAUDE OPUS 5.5 JUST KEPT THE SAME CARTOON HERO ALIVE FOR 30 STRAIGHT MORNINGS AI cartoons were never a quality problem. They're a continuity problem Most AI shorts redraw the hero from scratch every single time, so by episode three the face has quietly changed and nobody gets attached to it. A series only works when episode 30 looks exactly like episode 1, and that's the step almost everyone skips So the fix isn't a better image model. It's a lock that every episode has to pass before it ships Watch the clip, here's what's happening: > 0:00 day 01 lands on the locked hero, and the folded ear, the eyes, the freckles and the coat snap into place before it drops onto the calendar > 0:02 the mornings speed up, and every new frame gets checked against the same sheet: folded left ear, 3 freckles on the left cheek, round eyes with two highlights, ochre raincoat > 0:08 day 17 comes back with a straight ear and no freckles, so instead of shipping it gets rejected and redrawn from the 14 reference images > 0:15 all 30 frames get stacked on top of each other, the backgrounds melt into mush and the face stays razor sharp The part that makes it work: Claude reads one series-biblemd before every episode, and the hero's character sheet goes into every scene as reference images. Google's Nano Banana 2 takes up to 14 of them per call, which is more than enough to pin a face down Nobody falls in love with a random AI clip. They come back for the same face tomorrow morning p.s. Dot is a demo hero I made for this clip, so treat the numbers on screen as a demo, not a benchmark. If you made a daily cartoon for your app, what's the one detail your hero would never lose? How to lock the hero, the whole stack and how to sell the series to apps every month are in the article below. Save it now, you'll want it the day you draw episode one 👇
