Opus 5.5 generates a code-only night parking lot rocket-car jump
Opus 5.5 coded a full night parking lot, 29 parked cars, a rocket car, 278 vapor puffs, camera and sound; a rejected first pass led to a 17-hour GPU render.
Musk flipped a car over a row of parked cars this week. Nobody needs to jump a Semi. Everybody needs a parking spot. So I gave Opus 5.5 the real problem. A full lot at night. One free spot. Boxed in on every side. No way to drive in. Nothing here was filmed. Every frame is code. Opus wrote all of it: the lot, the wet asphalt, 29 parked cars, the roadster, the thrusters, the vapor, the camera, the sound. The car body isn't modeled by hand. It's a shape built from equations. The vapor is 278 separate puffs, each with its own path. The first version was bad. Cotton-wool smoke, a toy-looking car, a landing you couldn't even see. I rated it 4 out of 10 and made it start over. The final render took 17 hours on a rented GPU.
