Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 got the same prompt: a lighthouse on a rocky island, waves into foam, a sailboat passing, night turning into sunrise and the light going off at the end. Real 3D, 15 seconds. Opus: $4.79, 38 minutes. Sonnet: $1.16, 9 minutes. Opus built a real ocean, the beam lighting up the water and the lamp going dark right on time. Sonnet made a cute island that floats in the air, then melts into white fog. 4x the price. Top or bottom?
