Opus 5.5 film and game attempt: an amateur's honest slop review
The author used Opus 5.5 to make videos and games, criticizes clumsy motion and bad audio, and argues AI is just a tool.
There are still way too many shortcomings. Regarding the sound, I once asked Opus 5.5 to download it, but forgot that AI doesn't have ears and can't hear, so it only downloaded files based on the names, and in the end it was like auditory torture so I requested to remove everything. Regarding the movements, the movements of the models are still clumsy and full of errors. The gameplay still isn't satisfying yet, in general there are still many things that need to be done. Even though AI can help you do many things, make movies, make games, create apps. But for an amateur without industry experience like me, all I can create is Slop. So don't listen to those idiots who hate AI, they don't know a damn thing. AI is just a tool, it is not omnipotent. Like in Vietnam about 15 - 20 years ago when they issued the policy "anyone who doesn't know how to use a desktop computer will be fired". In the end no computer stole anyone's job, they lost their jobs because they didn't know how to use computers and were "replaced" by those who knew how to use computers, that's all. And now it's the same, AI is just a tool, it doesn't steal anyone's job, they lose their jobs because their work is no longer important, or they are replaced by people in the same industry, those who know how to use AI.
