Sonnet 5.5 vs GPT-6.1 Terra: same WebGPU dam diorama prompt
Given one prompt for a WebGPU dam diorama with water sim and wildlife, Sonnet 5.5 took about 2 hours and $15 for full quality, while GPT-6.1 Terra finished in 3 minutes for $0.09 at very low quality.
Claude Sonnet 5.5 vs GPT-6.1 Terra Same prompt: a WebGPU jelly diorama of a concrete dam with a live water sim, wildlife, floods and a salmon run, built from scratch in code. - Sonnet 5.5: ~2 h, ~$15 - GPT-6.1 Terra: 3 min, ~$0.09 Terra was ~170x cheaper and ~40x faster, very low quality imo. Sonnet on the other hand built the full thing: shadows, refracting water, wildlife, etc. but took alot of time. Sonnet 5.5 obviosuly cooked Gpt 6.1 terra here quality wise, but Gpt6.1 was insanely cheap and fast. Worth it for the price?
