Running two businesses and family life with OpenClaw plus Grok Bot
A producer lists real uses of an OpenClaw plus Grok Bot setup: media analytics, production planning, health records, finances, security monitoring, design systems and kids' highlight reels.
Combination of OpenClaw + Grok Bot: - Measuring performance of media across platforms, surfacing insights for future writer's rooms - Production planning (I have a production assistant bot for when I'm film set and have to wear producer / director / talent hats while managing the crew / shoot days / ordering lunch, etc) - Dive Radio episode planning (managing run of show schedule, submissions, news, links) - Managing my health records, blood work, medication, diet, supplementation, exercise, etc - Back of house finances (invoicing, contracts, fulfillment, etc) - Security (24/7 monitoring my local networks, API token rotation, git repos, security alerts to be aware of, device and app updates, etc) - Content and advertiser schedule, prep, planning, writer's room activities, fact-checking layer, etc - Customer feedback, product usage, short-term idea roadmapping and prototyping (quick variations before diving into what to meaningfully build) at Inflight - Design system management (24/7 listener for main branch pushes and retroactively building new UI pushes into an evaluation layer to determine if they should be adopted by my DS and if so, building them out into reusable components and pushing them up/downstream into all current projects) - this is a larger pipeline with a lot of gates, but its automated - My teenagers play football, they're good, I manage their highlight reels (and cut their recruiter hype videos) with my agent and track their Hudl stats, etc. - Managing finances, credit, investments, taxes. Just purchased a minivan and it was pretty painless, dogwalked the dealership on the price, very little prep and effort on my end. I basically run 2 businesses (Enjoyers, Inflight) and produce Dive while still spending time with my family of 5 children, enjoying hobbies like DMing local D&D sessions, staying active in the school community, writing a children's book (no AI), etc. Life is extremely rewarding right now where it used to be an absolute hustle and grind to no end.
