The author gave Soar, Instinct and Grok Bot the same prompt to find the cheapest lie-flat business-class flight; Grok Bot found the most money-saving creative routes, but price gaps between assistants were large enough to still require manual checking.
Gave Soar, Instinct, Grok Bot the same exact prompt to find the cheapest lay flat business class flight > was excited to test soar because its purpose built for travel, but it couldn’t go past google flights and was the most expensive of all > instinct gave me a few more options, but didn’t do the grunt work of searching aggregators and finding unique routes > grok bot did best here, i had to push it further but it came out the bat swinging finding creative routes including 17 hour layovers to save $1k lol The fact there’s still massive price spreads in between each agent makes me cross check manually, making it not so much of a time saver for those who are price sensitive
