Remotion as renderer, Claude as director: an editable video pipeline
Raw inputs, Remotion scene code and a CLAUDE.md spec form three layers, so a small fix touches a few files and Claude checks pacing and sources before export.
Remotion is the renderer, Claude is the director, and the video is just code most AI video gets generated from scratch on every prompt. one small fix means a full re-roll I set it up differently. Claude compiles the video as code and keeps it editable three layers: > raw inputs the reference clip, the data, the article you pick them. Claude reads them and never edits them > the video scenes, timing, captions in Remotion Claude writes all of it > the spec CLAUDE.md: the rules and the style you write it together two files Claude reads first: > spec.md: pacing, first motion, cut rhythm log.md: every build, note and diff, append-only > one note touches a few files, not the whole video “the title is a beat late” titleIn 0.2 0.0 before export, Claude checks four things: off-beat cuts stale numbers missing sources unused scenes you keep the taste and the final yes. Claude handles the frames the full setup is in the article
