Opus 5.5 edited a full GTA 5 source leak video in one pass
The author raises long-term concerns about AI making closed software "open" and notes that Opus 5.5 edited the day's entire long-form video in one pass, following his usual editing style.
Some people were able to briefly play GTA 5 today before Rockstar took it down. I believe this potential use of AI to decompile (although this is not decompilation but rather a game source code leak) and make closed software "open" is short-term bad for the industry. Long term, we'll end up owning nothing. Everything would be cloud subscription and pixels beamed directly to our screen, with nothing running locally.
