Opus 5.5 builds a finished game, Skyhold, from an empty folder in 4h40m

A roughly 700-word design-doc prompt led Opus 5.5 to generate a 14,918-line game across nine passes, with every house, cloud and balloon drawn in code and no image or model files, plus a frame-renderable trailer.

ONE PERSON GAVE CLAUDE OPUS 5.5 AN EMPTY FOLDER AND GOT A FINISHED GAME IN 4 HOURS 40 MINUTES The game is called Skyhold. Houses arrive on balloons, every one tips a floating island, and past 15° the rim slides into the clouds The first prompt ran about 700 words and read like a design doc: the look, the tech, the rules and one line for recording That line made the game deterministic. The same inputs give the same island, so the trailer renders frame by frame and the server can recheck every score Opus needed 9 passes: > first build: 46 minutes > arcade redesign: 41 minutes, $12.94 > leaderboard, archipelago and finale: 4 passes, $45.22 The result is 14,918 lines of code and zero image or model files. Every house, cloud and balloon is drawn in code The leaderboard was tested the way a cheater would test it. A score of 999,999 comes back as "score not plausible" The game hasn't earned a cent yet, and the article says so openly. The plan is rewarded ads, cosmetics and paid eras, and the faster money is in selling the same pipeline as playable ads The day 1 post got 13,328 views and 192 bookmarks. The full build with every prompt is in the article One line in the prompt decided the trailer, the anti-cheat and the physics at once
