Grok Bot adds a dictation shortcut, with rough edges
A user tests Grok Bot's new dictation action button: it works hands-free inside the app, but outside it neither opens the app nor shows what you're dictating.
Another Grok Bot sneaky gem! They’ve added dictation action button shortcut! Just gave it some tests and it isn’t perfect, but great start. If you aren’t in the Grok Bot app, tap and hold once to activate, dictate, tap and hold again to send. The problem with this currently is that it does not launch the app, and it does not show you what you’re dictating. I actually think it’d be sick if it didn’t launch the app, but pulled down a Dynamic Island window that showed you your dictation, and your Grok Bot’s response. This would probably be cleaner than a full app open for this use case. But inside of the app, it’s sick. Just open your app, go into your Grok Bot, and you can have a full-on back and forth chat with your bot via dictation without tapping anything on the touch screen. Press, talk, press. LFG
