Opus 5.5 turns 17 years of Bitcoin data into motion graphics
A motion graphics piece made with Opus 5.5 visualizes 17 years of Bitcoin history across about 969,000 blocks, with the illustrations and music also generated by the model.
wanted to try out opus 5.5 for motion graphics, so i asked it for 17 years of bitcoin with key events. every dot is one day since the first block. brighter means more transactions that day. orange marks something that happened: the first price, mt. gox, the halvings, el salvador, the ETFs, and the day the last bitcoin should be mined, sometime around 2140. built from public data across ~969,000 blocks. every headline on screen was fetched and the 16 illustrations were drawn in code as halftone dots. the music was synthesized by opus 5.5 too.
