MiniMax just dropped a new AI model that's 16x CHEAPER than Claude... So I made both of them build Elon's new flying Roadster. Same prompt, same reference photos, zero edits. MiniMax M3.1 Flash: $0.71 Claude Opus 5.5: $11.27 Opus still wins on realism. But MiniMax got most of the way there for less than a coffee... and it goes open source on Oct 23.
