200 Haiku 5.5 agents filter 10,000 pages before Grok 4.7 thinks
A demo setup uses 200 Haiku 5.5 agents to read and filter 10,000 pages first, then lets Grok 4.7 read only the survivors, cutting cost from $38 to $2.10.
Grok 4.7 got smarter the day i stopped letting it read everything i wouldn't send 10,000 pages to Grok 4.7. i'd make 200 Haiku 5.5 agents read them first and only pass up what matters. that's the setup behind this sieve. the Haiku side works like a filter: each agent reads 50 pages, tags what's new, kills duplicates and flags anything weird. then Grok 4.7 gets only the 200 pages that survived and does the real thinking - connects them, finds the pattern, writes the answer. so instead of 1 big model drowning in 10,000 pages, you get 2 very different jobs: 200 Haikus clean. 1 Grok thinks. the result on the same task: Grok 4.7 alone - $38, 22 min, missed 4 of 11 key facts Grok 4.7 + 200 Haikus - $2.10, 3 min, found all 11 the smartest model in the room shouldn't read everything. it should read what's worth it.
