ai used to just answer your question now it's starting to build the thing you actually needed anthropic dropped two new claude tools, and they matter more than they look. claude dashboards plug in your business data, ask a question in plain english. claude writes the queries, builds interactive charts, and keeps them updated as the data changes. works with salesforce, snowflake, bigquery, databricks and more. you can also check the sql behind every chart. claude motion turns a report, chart or idea into an animated explainer. you can edit the text, numbers, visuals and timing, then export it as an mp4. the part i find most interesting: motion doesn't generate video. it generates the code behind the animation. so you're not stuck with a clip you can only watch. you can change it. dashboards is in beta on paid plans. motion is team and enterprise only for now. docs, slides and design are now on every plan, free included. for me this isn't about prettier charts. it's about skipping the copy-paste step between "ask ai" and "open another app to finish the job." the smartest model won't win on its own. the one that hands you finished work will.
