Hark Labs assistant day 2: Xero invoices, proposals and video uploads
A user's second-day test of the Hark assistant covers it raising and sending a Xero invoice, drafting a proposal in brand formatting, publishing a YouTube video via Uber, and writing a high-engagement post.

This is my Day 2 review of using @hark_labs. Here we go: 1. It prepared and sent a Xero invoice This was the highlight of the day for me. There's no plugin list, but as @pablothethinker told me, if you tell Hark what needs doing, it's very good at figuring it out. With that in mind, and with invoices to raise, I asked Hark if it could do this for me in @Xero. Simply put, I logged in to Xero, and it did the rest: > right amount based on my emails; > correct tax applied; > billing address; > client name; and > email. Apart from asking it to add additional information to the invoice (which I didn't include in my initial prompt), it got everything right and sent it to my client. For context, normally my VA drafts invoices, or if she can't do it, I do. Now, Hark can do it. 2. It wrote the perfect proposal This was equally as impressive. I asked Hark to draft a new proposal for me, based on a previous proposal. Unlike ChatGPT, the formatting was perfect. My logo, my letterhead and fonts were all accurate. None of that horrible blue and black text you sometimes get from ChatGPT. Even more impressive, it even adapted the content of the proposal for the type of job I was pricing. 3. It published my YouTube video while I was in an Uber Title, description, tags, set to public. All done while I was heading home late. This is the beauty of a good AI personal assistant: it works in parallel so you can focus on what actually matters. 4. It helped me write my Day 1 tweet Using the video it published, I asked it to summarise the transcript into a simple pros and cons list. This formed the skeleton of my tweet, which now has: 6,866 impressions 376 engagements 105 detailed expands 73 likes 4 retweets It's one of my best performing tweets. 5. Sound business strategy I asked how best to handle certain payments and VAT (tax) calculations. I usually use ChatGPT for this. Hark gave concrete, sensible advice from limited info. It's too early to call it excellent, but it did a great job. 6. Teams invites Hark sent a Teams invitation to my client with a good title, description and a valid link. Low-hanging fruit, most agents can do it. But I'm spinning a lot of plates, so it all helps. This isn't a feature but it helped: To get around the lack of a macOS app, I simply allowed all Hark notifications on my iPhone. In turn, this syncs to my Mac. Now I see a pop-up in the corner of my screen whenever it's working on a task. It works, but I'd still love a proper Mac app. What's in store for Day 3 For the day ahead I plan to use Hark to help me more with strategic aspects of business, and for carrying out deep research (people have said it's good at this). Last but not least, thanks to so many people for sharing their experiences of using Hark. These are giving me ideas on how I can use it more effectively.
