Claude solves video editing for B2B content creators. More YouTubers should embrace this. You can film a multi-cam (2 camera angle setup) and Claude can edit for you (Opus 5.5) in Adobe Premiere Pro and handle the editing and camera switching for you. Remove your worst takes, edit down tangents and such. You can supply it the thesis of your outline and your audience avatar so it’s editing from the actual transcript of the video and doing all of it in the actual program. It can handle your color grade, the audio clean up, remove the silences, create chapters and also add markers for where specific screenshots or b-roll should be inserted into your video. It will take on the 80% to get you your coherent rough cut and you can have it log what was done and what was removed and state all of its reasoning. Then you or your editor can come in and do the remaining 20% of polish. If you’re feeling brave it can even do another round and get you to 90% Round 3 with your input gets it to 95%. Ideally you have well labeled b-roll or have the screen shots or screen recordings that would be needed to add. I’d argue the human touches for finishing should be the sound design and maybe the motion graphics placement… Possibly doing the first 15-60 seconds of the hook yourself… There isn’t really a need for editing a 20-40 minute deep dive as a B2B creator be a 10-25 hour turnaround for you or your editor anymore. This will get you beyond Minimum Viable Content, with as much consistency as your production team can handle. I would say you reduce editing commitment and resources and then increase team and time into physical production, interviews, collaboration, on-location and in-person events that turn your real community and customers into the content. This is how you properly scale proof of human in content and in the real world… by taking advantage of AI. Not every creator is supposed to be prioritizing making “art”. Lifestyle and Education content needs to prioritize IRL production… not editing… and going directly to and engaging with the audience outside of the studio and making them part of the content they enjoy seeing. To a large degree, entertainment content is still over indexing on editing as brand identity… That creates consumers of an aesthetic, instead of a tribe that you attracted on your personality and on any shared connection. It’s an audience that can be stolen or go stale. Editing is NOTa most anymore… it’s a crumbling fortress that costs more than it yields…
