Opus 5.5 bridges Doom and Minecraft over a socket in real time

Opus 5.5 wired Doom and Minecraft together over a socket with both engines running at once, translating map geometry, damage models and the 35/20 tick interpolation live.

THIS IS F*CKING UNHOLY opus 5.5 wired Doom and Minecraft together over a socket, and both games keep running at once WHAT IS SYNCED → Doom owns the level and the monsters. Minecraft owns what you see, what you hold, and what takes the damage → the map is not imported, it is translated live. Doom's geometry is not cubic and not on a grid, so every wall and floor height is rebuilt out of blocks, textures and all → the boss is a Doom entity streamed across the wire and drawn inside a world that has never heard of it THE PART THAT SHOULD NOT WORK → Doom ticks 35 times a second. Minecraft ticks 20. there is no clean ratio between them, so every position has to be interpolated or the whole thing stutters → damage crosses in both directions, and the two damage models have nothing in common. a hit has to be converted into hearts and armour on the way over → one side is fixed-point math from 1993, the other is a modern voxel server, and they have to agree on where you are standing every single frame WHY THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT → the other ports put one game inside another → this one left both alive and built a bridge between them → neither engine ever learns the other exists. they only agree on a number on a port the demon is from 1993 the crossbow is not
