A rumor says Sol is a lighter version of Astra built to run computational tasks cheaply and efficiently, and the poster worries that turning chat into a pure work tool will hit an AGI ceiling.
There are rumors going around that GPT-6 Sol will be released as a more lightweight version compared to Astra. And once again, this seems to focus much more on work than chat, especially on how cheaply and efficiently it can run computational tasks. As I thought, ChatGPT no longer seems to be focusing on chat. Instead, it seems to be moving in a direction where chat and work are being merged, with work being prioritized over chat, and everything being solved through work. If AI is made to focus entirely on working as a tool, and if AI is made to be used only as a safe work tool, then you will never be able to create AGI. In the end, you will hit a limit.
