OpenAI is neglecting Chat for work and Codex, one user complains

I really don’t like what OpenAI is doing right now. It feels like they are now even more openly ignoring Chat and putting their weight behind work/Codex, pushing AI harder and harder as agents and tools. As everyone seems to feel, even GPT-6 Sol does not feel like it is meant for conversation. I hope they listen to feedback and improve it again, but since this is OpenAI, I honestly don’t see much hope. On top of that, my current mood and what OpenAI is doing feel almost exactly like around this time last year.
