Speculation: M3.1 Flash is M3 rebranded as a Flash tier, with a Pro model likely next

A user speculates that M3.1 Flash shares M3's 428B total / 23B active parameters and is essentially M3 relabeled as a Flash tier, hinting a Pro model is coming.

Here Me Out... Minimmax M3.1 FLASH, is basically Minimax M3 but upgraded. M3 was ALSO 428B A23B. So what they did was turn M3 into a FLASH mode. Because more than likely a PRO model is on the horizon.

This post quotes another post: “MiniMax M3.1 Flash open weights: 428B total, 23B activated”
