Workaround lets Grok Bot read and send texts via a Mac
Since Grok Bot lacks iMessage support, the author routes texts through a Mac so it can search, summarize and draft replies, add appointment dates to the calendar, and send only after approval.
Everyone's been waiting for Grok Bot to get iMessage. It's not here yet, so I kept digging, and I found a workaround. Now Grok Bot reads and sends my texts through my Mac. No connector needed, and I can ask it from my phone as long as my Mac is on🔥 Here's what I do with it. 1) "Did anyone text me about school today?" It searches my texts and tells me. 2) "Summarize my unread texts." I get a quick rundown instead of scrolling. 3) "Find the address my friend sent me last week." No more digging through old threads. 4) "Reply to John: running 10 min late." It drafts it, I say OK, it sends. 5) "Remind me if I forgot to answer anyone." It catches texts I never replied to. 6) "Pull the dates from my appointment texts and add them to my calendar." I stay in control: it shows me every draft and sends only after I say so.
