GPT-6 Sol said to be nearly finished as Luna stays in development
A leaker says GPT-6 Sol appears essentially finished while Luna is still in development and could launch alongside it, with the Terra tier possibly retired and a first preview as early as next week.
A lot of people have been asking me about GPT-6 Luna and Terra. From what I’ve been told: → GPT-6 Luna is still in development, unlike Sol, which appears to be essentially finished. So there’s still a chance Luna and Sol could launch together. → GPT-6 Terra is a bit more uncertain. OpenAI is apparently considering retiring that tier entirely, which means Terra fans may not get a GPT-6 version at all. We’ll probably get a much clearer picture over the next few weeks, with the first real preview coming as early as next week. (None of this is final yet, and plans can still change.)
