Leaker says still pushing for smooth GPT-5.6 Sol to GPT-6 Sol transition
An account known for OpenAI leaks says it is still pushing for every tier to keep meaningful value, including generous Chat limits and a smooth transition from GPT-5.6 Sol to GPT-6 Sol.
Don’t think I’ve forgotten the feedback many of you sent me about how OpenAI should do a better job of taking care of its users. I’m still pushing as hard as I can for every tier to keep meaningful value: → generous Chat limits → strong creative writing and personality → a smooth transition from GPT-5.6 Sol to GPT-6 Sol → a Chat experience that stays warm, broad and human → deeper Work/Codex integration without making Chat colder or dramatically more restricted And one thing I really want to stress: $20 is NOT cheap for a lot of people. Many users pay for Plus because ChatGPT feels welcoming, useful, and worth keeping in their lives. If OpenAI wants those people to stay instead of slowly moving to Claude, preserving that experience matters just as much as shipping stronger models. (And it’s kind of funny that I have to keep stressing how important it is to preserve and improve the Chat experience when the product is literally called “Chat”GPT.)
