A leaker reassures users that Chat and agent usage limits are expected to stay separate for now, and says they are pushing to bring GPT-6 Sol to regular Chat for Plus users.
Hi! 🤗 Please don’t worry too much. From what I’ve been told so far, the usage limits for regular Chat messages and agentic tasks are expected to remain separate for now. And even if OpenAI eventually brings these experiences closer together, I’ve been told that Chat itself is not supposed to be devalued by suddenly giving it much worse limits. I completely understand why you’re stressed, especially if you rely on Chat for creative writing. That’s one of the things I care about a lot too. I’ve also been pushing people I know who have access to the teams responsible for this to keep improving the creative writing experience, and especially to bring GPT-6 Sol into regular Chat for public access, including Plus users. So for now, I really wouldn’t panic. I’m watching this very closely too, and I’ll keep sharing anything reliable as soon as I can. 🤗♥️
