OpenAI DevDay leak list: GPT-6 Sol in Chat, o agents, and a ~$500 ProMax plan
A DevDay preview lists o agents, 750 tok/s Ultrafast, a ProMax plan around $500, and strong signals that GPT-6 Sol will reach the regular Chat experience.
What we have so far for OpenAI’s DevDay, based on confirmed changes and very strong signals: → “o” agents: always-on OpenAI agents, currently tied to Pro-tier access. → Ultrafast: around 750 tokens/s through Cerebras, most likely reserved for the higher tiers. → ProMax: a new ~$500 plan, potentially closer to ~$600 after taxes and fees depending on the region. → Major ChatGPT desktop upgrades: significant UI / UX improvements across the Windows and Mac apps. I still haven’t confirmed the same level of changes on Android and iOS. → GPT-6 Sol in Chat: increasingly likely, finally bringing Sol into the regular Chat experience. → Better conversational personality: ongoing work on personality, aesthetics, grammar, tone, and overall conversational quality to make interactions feel richer and more human. → Chat / Work / Codex convergence: a likely unification of the experiences, while keeping regular Chat limits separate from agentic task limits. There’s still a lot moving in the backend, so I doubt this is the full list. DevDay is starting to look very interesting.
