Grok Bot as a launch team: 1,176 weekly runs cut to ~60

A week-long setup uses Grok Bot as router plus Mailpit, SOPS, Coolify, Formbricks and Umami, cutting 1,176 weekly wake-ups to about 60 real-work runs.

Holy sh*t I spent a week turning Grok Bot into a launch team that only wakes up for real work. no cofounder. no hourly cron. no bot burning a run just to say nothing changed. here's the stack, and it's stupidly simple: 1. Grok Bot: the router one clock on Monday 09:00, six triggers for everything else. Chief reads one line per wake and skips the brief if LEDGER.md didn't move. 1,176 runs a week became about 60. http://docs.x.ai/grok-bot/computer-and-apps 2. axllent/mailpit: a fake inbox for your real aliases catches every email locally, so you can test +waitlist, +bugs and +press before a single real customer writes in. brew install mailpit http://github.com/axllent/mailpit 3. getsops/sops: keys that can live in git encrypts the secrets file and leaves the keys readable, so the bots get their config and never see a raw token in a prompt. brew install sops http://github.com/getsops/sops 4. coollabsio/coolify: your own Vercel self-hosted deploys with preview builds. the Builder opens one PR, you click the preview, and nothing merges without you. http://github.com/coollabsio/coolify 5. formbricks/formbricks: pains from your own users open source surveys inside your app. first users answer one question and the Pain Miner gets fresh complaints instead of guessing. http://github.com/formbricks/formbricks 6. umami-software/umami: did the launch post work simple open source analytics, one script tag. by Friday you know if the post brought people or just likes. http://github.com/umami-software/umami the order that works: Monday clock wakes the Scout, the Judge kills or keeps, the Builder ships to a Coolify preview, Pitch drafts the post, you tap approve, Umami tells you if it landed the uncomfortable part: a bot that runs every hour isn't working harder. it's just billing you to check an empty inbox. the only thing separating a launch team from a cron job is knowing when not to wake up. and nobody sells that as a plugin. save this. your Friday self will thank you when the bill says $2.80 instead of $54.
