PSA: If you are developing on ChatGPT/Codex you don't need to build tools for search/discovery. I hear a lot of these asks especially from partners with multiple MCPs. We standardized on Plugin as a primitive, shipped tool search and code mode across all clients, and train the model to work well with mcp tools so you don't have to 😅
