HyperFrames uses Opus 5.5 to make a 9-minute Vox-style episode

HyperFrames' editor uses Opus 5.5 code-to-video to reverse-engineer a Vox template from 12 episodes and produce a 9-minute explainer Vox never made.

Anyone can copy one minute of Vox now. Nine new minutes, made from scratch, that still feel like Vox? That’s a different problem 🤥 After Opus 5.5, code to video hit a new level. Step 1: recreate a clip. Step 2: recreate a full 10 minutes. Step 3: create a new 10 minutes. @HyperFrames_ editor is already on step 3: “Why America has so few public bathrooms.” 9 minutes. An episode Vox never made. Last time we did this with Xiao Lin Shuo (小Lin说), a hit Chinese explainer channel. This time it’s Vox. Reverse engineering is everywhere right now. Most Vox recreations are 1–2 minutes of motion graphics. They look close. They feel cheap. Real Vox is dense, and every detail is a choice: - Every move lands on a word in the script - The animation runs at 12 drawings a second, not smooth tweens - The camera travels across one big board instead of flipping slides - The graphics sit on paper, with grain and slightly off-register ink - The real footage is never color-graded One minute can’t teach you that. You can copy a video that already exists. But what if you start from zero? And make episode after episode? Where does the footage come from, and who do you credit? - What goes on screen for each line? - When does it come in, and when does it go? - How do you write like Vox, not like every other explainer? - How does one voice hold 9 minutes, with the right pace, pauses and emphasis? - Which sound effect goes where? - Where does the music start? - Where does it stop? That’s where agents get lost. @HyperFrames_ editor solves all of it: - It breaks Vox down into a template: how they write, cut and move. We built it from 12 episodes of this playlist: http://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJ8cMiYb3G5df0hNFQxY_CKa8wrUERh-u - It rebuilds the motion graphics 1:1, frame by frame - It finds real, licensed footage and credits it on screen - It cues every sound effect and music change to the narration - It runs entirely in HyperFrames Studio, with one API: HeyGen Not one frame comes from Vox. Everything is new. Same template, new topic, new episode. @HyperFrames_ editor isn’t cloning Vox. It’s a Vox-style series that never runs out of episodes. https://hyperframes.dev/studio (Not made by or affiliated with Vox. The narration is an AI voice. Tech demo only.)
