Opus 5.5 vs Gemini 4 Argon: same physics prompt compared

Running the same water-balloon physics prompt on Opus 5.5 and Gemini 4 Argon, the post compares frame density, time and cost to ask whether the double price is worth it.

SAME PROMPT. DOUBLE THE PRICE. HALF THE CRAFT. I ran the exact same physics prompt on Opus 5.5 and Gemini 4 Argon. Opus filled the entire frame with dozens of glossy water balloons, rich splashes, and visible puddles. Gemini kept the camera low, left half the screen empty, and gave you a few weak pink drops. Gemini finished in 25 minutes at $10 per million tokens. Opus took 37 minutes at $20. Production demands the better frame. Is the top one actually worth double?
