Stabledash uses Opus 5.5 to cut a narrative recap from 163 hours of livestreams
Given livestream footage, Opus 5.5 added DefiLlama growth charts, ETF news cards and guest split screens to produce "On the Record," a recap built around a bullish Solana ecosystem narrative.
We've streamed 163 hours of Stabledash Live since February. That doesn't count what we've filmed on site at Breakpoint, Accelerate and a handful of stablecoin conferences. The usual playbook we run is: - Record the stream - Produce clips - Move on to the next one We've never sat down to make narrative-driven look-backs that bring together multiple thoughts and perspectives from our guests. With all the hype around Opus 5.5 and video editing, I wanted to see what would happen if I pointed it at our archive and asked it to lean into one specific narrative. It came up with a few options, and we landed on the Solana ecosystem and a bull case for it. The format it built is "On the Record": the story told through clips of the people building it. @CaddleMaya, @SolanaFndn @proofofjamal, @SolanaFndn @GarrettHarper_, @altitude @Matt_Hougan, @Bitwise @SimkinStepan, @multisig Malcolm Clarke, @WesternUnion I didn't one-shot this, but I definitely wasn't focused on it for hours on end. It ran in the back of my mind while I worked on other tasks, and we went back and forth on a few parts. But honestly, I've been blown away by what it delivered. I gave it very vague instructions, and it added things I never asked for: 0:15 - A growth chart from DefiLlama data: stablecoins on Solana, from $1.4B in Oct 2023 to $16.7B today 0:24 - A news card on Bitwise's Solana ETF 0:55 - A panel on MoneyGram, Western Union, Zepz and SoFi building on Solana, each one dated and sourced 1:07 - A full-screen card on Western Union's USDPT stablecoin 1:17 - A panel on Visa's USDC settlement on Solana 1:22 - Our real outro and logo to close it out We mostly focus on interviews and clips, so this is new for us. I'm excited to iterate on it. What should I point it at next? A longer 8-10 minute video on one topic? More on Solana, or AI? Or one company, like @moonpay?
